In this canvas print, the true colors of an iceberg are revealed. When there are cracks and crevices in the ice, you find this stunning blue color. It is a result of the light rays travelling through the ice, refracting the blue light . The Iceberg was bobbing in the waves, and the water was crashing into the crevices, and sliding out. I was watching the action of the water, and was finally able to capture the lacey curtains look that I wanted. You can also see the green of the algae on the ice below the waterline.
You can put a set of two or three together which look great on the wall.
Each original photo is printed onto canvas, varnished with UV Protection, and then stretched around a wooden stretcher bar. Each step in the process is performed by Shirley herself, from the original photography, editing, right down to packaging each canvas print for shipping.
